Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) for examination notification was declared on 25th May, 2009. Till today, all the examinations were taken by a nodal university and it was of traditional type where the candidates were writing the exams on pen and paper.
Now-onwards, GCET would be conducted by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and that will be an Online Examination.
The test will be of Online Type where candidates have to give the answers on computers. The examination will be conducted at 18-20 centers across Gujarat.
The examination will be conducted at 18-20 centers across Gujarat. The exam will be conducted in three sessions where in each session about 3000 candidates can appear and every candidates have to appear in these three sessions.
The candidate will get the result within 2 hours.
